For the next few weeks, this blog will record our (Mr. Avenue's and my) adventures in Viet Nam! We leave tomorrow and, for once, I'm mostly packed. Usually doesn't happen until much closer to our actual departure time.

This will be our second time in Viet Nam - we went 8 years ago, loved it, and have always meant to return. This year, we had our chance. I'm a reasonably happy person most of the time, but am pretty low key (introvert, you know). Very few things honestly "fill me with joy". Deciding that this would be the summer that we went back, did.
